Inventory

Vintage items are one of a kind, therefore restocking an item once it is sold is impossible. If you see something you love, get it while you can!

Condition

Please understand vintage items have been previously loved and some wear may be present. I always do my best to accurately photograph and describe the item, but always purchase with the knowledge that vintage items are always 20-90 years old — but hey, that’s what make them awesome! I want every customer to be happy with their purchase, so please purchase with the understanding that vintage items are one-of-a-kind and perfectly imperfect.

I usually only source vintage items in good condition, and some of the vintage items I find have never been used. But, sometimes an item is too good or rare to pass up even with a flaw. Feel confident that I will always disclose damage or extreme wear in the item description.

Vintage items sometimes require more gentle care when cleaning and wearing. Age can sometimes weaken materials, so treat vintage items more delicately than you would contemporary items.

Bold Fashioned cannot guarantee the longevity of any vintage item.

Sizing

Number sizes from decades ago are different from today’s sizes, therefore, please take a look at the item’s measurements before purchasing.

Measurements provided should be utilized as an estimated guide. The best way to estimate whether an item will fit is to take a similar item in your own closet that fits you, lay it flat, and measure for a comparison.

Shipping

All purchased items ship via USPS or UPS within two days of purchase. A tracking number will be provided to you. Item’s shipped via USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground usually have transit times of 2-7 days (this is estimated transit time, never guaranteed).
All domestic purchases ship free by USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground. You have the option to purchase upgraded USPS Priority Mail shipping.

The buyer is responsible for providing the correct address. Orders shipped due to an incorrect address provided will not be refunded.

The buyer is responsible for providing a safe place for package delivery. Any package marked delivered by USPS/UPS tracking that is missing will be the buyer’s responsibility to contact the postal service for assistance or file a theft report to the police.

International Orders — Shipping Outside of the United States
Currently, international orders are not accepted via this website, BUT orders are accepted via our Etsy vintage shop or our Etsy eyewear shop for Canada, Japan, Switzerland, and Australia.
Customs and import taxes: Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Bold Fashioned is not responsible for delays due to customs.

Return Policy

Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of vintage items, we have strict return terms.

Returns, exchanges, or refunds require a restocking fee of $7. This fee will be deducted from your refund.
A return must be initiated within three days of receiving the item, per the delivery date of the shipment’s tracking.
To qualify for a refund, all items must be in the same condition in which you received them.
The return shipping is at the expense of the buyer. Returned items must have a tracking number.
Sale and discounted items are not returnable.

This return policy only applies to purchases made via boldfashionedapparel.com. All sales are final for purchases made via other marketplaces and venues.

Coupon Codes

Occasionally we offer discount codes for returning customers. The codes can be entered during checkout. Coupon/discount codes are not retroactive, and cannot be claimed after a purchase. All coupon codes are ONE USE ONLY, and become invalid after redeemed.

Free Gift with Orders Promotion

Any “free gift with order” special promotions are only available while supplies last and can be discontinued anytime. These items do not have cash value for returns/refunds, but if you do return the item(s) for which the free gift was made eligible, you must return the free gift. If you do not return the gift, an additional $5 will be deducted from the refund.

Your privacy is very important to us. Bold Fashioned will never disclose your information to any outside organization or third party. As a valued customer, you will be the first to know about store news, special promotions, or sales. Therefore, you might occasionally receive emails and newsletters from us informing you of such events.
